Evaluation Model of Character Education Programs in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education Learning at SMP Negeri I Surakarta

The study aimed at describing the achievement of evaluation model character education program in learning Islamic Religion and Attitude subject, implementing teaching activity, extracurricular SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. used CIPP (Contest, Input, Process, Product) as means to conduct evaluation. approach this was descriptive. data were collected during process by interview, observation, document questionaire. analyzed using reduction, presentation, drawing conclusion. sources headmaster, committee, teachers, students’ parents, students VIII IX year. Result showed that subject have achieved good result implemented school holder. On stage context, mean 88.33% belonging effective category. input, it has 91.78% process, 87.60% Finally, product 90.04% Overall, implementation fulfilled criterion standards, but there several things improve, such as: 1) headmaster coordinating activity together with holder needs develop achieve excellent school, 2) teachers use whole competences performing their duties educator full affection improving values daily 3) must be improved, 4) parents give more attention for children educating habit doing behavior life.
